2 Days Out

So now is about the time when all my packing is done and all my favorite clothes are in my suitcase and i'm stuck wearing the same old pair of sweatpants for the next 2 days. Packing was a little rough for this trip because the temperature during the day in Lorient are around 12 degrees celsius (54 F) and at night it gets to about 5 degrees, and as an Arizonian anything below 80 degrees is WAY too cold for me.  So one thing i had to get was a nice, warm jacket (thanks mom and dad!) so we went to REI and i found a North Face jacket that was perfect !
Then i got a nice pair of gloves and a bunch of thermal socks. When packing i had to try to keep in mind that i'll also be traveling to a few other countries with very different climates. So after a few hours of packing i finally finished.
What I finally packedt:
- 4 pairs of jean (2 skinny, 1 regular, 1 nice pair)
- 3 pairs of Lululemon yoga pants
- 2 pairs of shorts/pajamas
-13 shirts (mix of t-shirts and cute shirts)
- 1 dress
- 1 bathing suit
- enough underwear/socks to last a lifetime
- 3 sports bras, 1 regular and one strapless bra
- makeup essentials (in the  Kate Spade box)
- tub of Aquaphor (literally won't go anywhere without this)
- 4 pairs of shoes (Vans, Nikes, moccasins, and boots)
- 3 beanies, 1 hat, 2 scarves
- curling iron and hair straightener
- 1 sweatshirt
- North Face jacket
- and the Alphie my Big Kelley got me for christmas (so i can rep some ADPi while i'm in France!)

then in my carry-on backpack im taking
- laptop
- chargers for my phone/laptop/camera
- camera
- 3 pairs of headphones
- 1 book (I think i'll take my "collection of Hemingway stories" book but i haven't decided yet)
- my phone
- all forms of ID (passport, drivers license, student ID in hopes of discounts)
- all my money (and i got these RFID sleeves for my credit/debit card that protect them from getting scanned, which i guess is the new big way of pick-pocketing in Paris)
- and plug adapters

This all fit in a small suitcase and backpack with plenty of extra space for all the souvenirs i'm sure i'll get.  I don't yet know if this will be a good list of packing, but i guess i'll see soon!
