So when you first start walking down there is a large caged area where there are some barn animals that are all just chillen together... not doing anything exciting.
So the random parts I was talking about were this marble sculpture in the middle of nowhere, next to a little playground, and then about 100 feet down the path were multiple Tiki Men statues that I totally forgot to take some pictures of. This park was super cool, but the more we kept walking the more I was confused about the decorations.
Last night we went to one of Aline's very good friends house to have some dinner and because their children are the same age and love each other. This house was Amazing! my phone died on my way there so I wasn't able to snap any pictures, but imagine a french farm house with the inside decorated in African Tribal style. Like there was a pole in the middle of the living room with a huge plant wrapping around it up to the ceiling.. I mean this place was cool.
One of my favorite things that the french do that we don't in America is eat. Like when you first get somewhere they always offer you a tea or coffee (and everyone does this no matter what age) and there are always snacks sitting out, then its an appetizer, main course, dessert and then a drink or coffee afterwards for practically every meal. These full meals are things we only do from time to time or on special occasions in the US but here every meal is like this.
Another thing i've noticed is they LOVE fast food here in Europe. My friend Dimitri and his friends eat at KFC all the time and Sunday evening when I went with them there they were all asking me all about fast food and America and how we are with things like guns and voting and mostly fast food. If these people tried good fast food like In-N-Out burger or Chick-Fil-A or Sonic (my favorite obviously) I think their lives would change forever. Then America wouldn't be seen as the fat country in the world... everyone would be fat. And if everyone was fat I think everyone would be much happier.
Au Revoir!
